The PNJ Civil Engineering Department Collaborates with PT Glodon Technical Indonesia on Training

Students from the Civil Engineering Department, specifically the D-4 Building Construction Engineering Study Program and the D-4 Road and Bridge Design Engineering Study Program, attended training from PT Glodon Indonesia. Students who participated in the training received an announcement on the results of the Cubicost series training on November 4, 2021.A total of 39 students received TAS certificates, and 33 students received TRB certificates. The TRB and TAS software are part of the BIM software.

The preparations for basic training for TAS and TRB include the following:

Training Requirements

  • Laptop/PC Specifications

You need a PC or laptop with a minimum standard requirement of 8 GB and a 64-bit Windows 7, 8, or 10 operating system.

Training Materials

The training materials consist of training drawings (2010 and 2018 versions of CAD files are available), excel files for schedule elements, and step-by-step ppt files for operations during training in pdf format.

The training was held for three days. To simplify the learning process, it is recommended to use two screens so you can see the operating instructions provided by the trainer. The first screen can be used to open the zoom application, and the second screen can be used to operate the software.

Students who take part in the training are given an understanding of the material on the basics of BIM and the basic features of TRB, followed by direct operation using the TRB (Cubicost Takeoff for Rebar) software by the participants. Then, the training participants were also given material on the operation of the TRB software and an understanding of the results generated by the TRB software. Furthermore, they were also given an understanding of the features of the TAS (Cubicost Takeoff for Architecture and Structure) software, followed by direct operation and an understanding of the results generated by the TAS software.
